How to do God's will

Have you ever stopped to think about this? Have you ever wondered what is God's will?

Some steps are important.

Step 1) Learn what is your will and what is God's will. They are different.

For this is the will of God: your sanctification, that you abstain from sexual immorality. I Thessalonians 4:3

Step 2) Keep in touch with God through prayer.

Blessed be God, who does not reject my prayer, nor withdraw His grace from me. Psalm 66:20
The Lord has heard my supplication; the Lord welcomes my prayer. Psalm 6:9

Step 3) Read and study God's word.

A lamp unto my feet is Your word and a light unto my paths. Psalms 119:105
For by the word of God and prayer you are sanctified. I Timothy 4:5

Step 4) Don't be guided by feelings.

There are ways that seem right to man, but in the end are ways of death. Proverbs 16:25

This is the most difficult part. When we are young, emotion is the first thing that the brain recognizes. You don't have bibliographic material yet. You don't have enough references/experience. Searching for people of God with more experience is fundamental to making any right decision and so...

...Step 5) Listen to God's counselors

Step 6) Examine God's providences.

We are sure that you have felt the hand of God leading every step you have taken in your life up to this point. Be it a deliverance, a job, a material blessing, or even a spiritual blessing, a relief in the heart, or peace, we could make a long list.

God's love is greater than we can measure. It is worth the blood of an innocent for a world that didn't give a damn. If He is the revelation of love, His will is the best for us.
