Want to get married but... You're not the right person.

Writer: Veja no EscuroVeja no Escuro

Relationships are built by two people. And the perfect result comes from the sum of two right people.

The reality most of the time is that when we're looking for someone to marry, we want the right person for us. But is it us? Are we being the right person for each other?

Here are some points for deep reflection:

- Do I really love Jesus or do I only look for him when I have some personal interest involved?

- How is my character developing? Have I been faithful in little things, have I been faithful to God? Have I been fair to people? Have I met the needs of my fellow human beings or do I only seek my own personal success?

- Have I developed my spirituality in such a way as to add to and enrich the relationship even more when I have the right person? Or do I consider it something secondary?

- How have I managed my time, finances and talents and the temple of the Holy Spirit that is my body and mind?

- Am I a person who elevates my partner or diminishes them in usefulness?

There are so many points to be analyzed and developed, aren't there?

Finding the right person will only crown a life of intimate relationship with God and a search for the Kingdom.
